Opening Ceremonies

That’s one word I would use to describe the opening ceremonies for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

I don’t watch many of the competitions, just like I don’t watch many of the Summer Games. There are few events that I enjoy.

The elegance and poignancy of these opening ceremonies were symbolic and rich in history.

Art and poetry in motion, in perfect synchronicity. Phenomenal.

If You Don’t Mind…

…I just wanted to share Conan O’Brien’s touching tribute to David Bowie on his show the other night. The first two clips will surely make you smile or laugh out loud, as I did…and the third will certainly have you weeping, as I did.

R.I.P., David…I wish that I could have met you in person, just once.
