I Swear…

…because I’m an adult. I use adult language once in a while, but not in a gratuitous fashion. That being said: FUCK TRUMP.

Deal with it.

Re-blogging one of my own posts, since it is just as deserving of more views as the posts of others that I re-blog! Also, I included a link that is worthy of reading…no re-blog option, so this is the next best thing.

Random Ramblings; Myriad Musings

Well, the day has arrived. Here in the states, some groups of people are elated. They give their ‘white-power’ salutes as they goose-step along, waving their confederate flags and nazi banners, screaming “Sieg Heil!” and “Heil Drumpf!” They are tickled pinker than they already are, now that their “chosen one” has been sworn in. I’m surprised that the bible didn’t burst into flames and turn into a heap of ashes when the tiny, baby-like hand of the illegitimate one was placed on it.

My thoughts on this matter haven’t changed one iota. I will give that thing the same respect and honour that he and the Rethuglikkkans gave President Obama. I will treat him the same way that his supporters treated Hillary and the entire Obama family. He will get all of the support from me that he’s earned: ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NONE. It’s going to be a very long four…

Well, the day has arrived. Here in the states, some groups of people are elated. It’s going to be a very long four years…I’m happy for the comedians, though; they will impart a bit of sanity during these dreadful times, and keep me laughing instead of vomiting with rage. I’m sure that there will be plenty to rage about, soon enough! Speaking of rage, I wonder if Samantha Bee is selling those “Thunder Cunt” t-shirts on her website? I seriously want one! It’s a shirt that I could wear with pride, certainly more so than some boring-ass “Feminist” shirt. If I’m going to be called names and ridiculed for speaking out against racism and injustice, then I might as well wear a badge of honour!

Now that I got that out of my system, it’s Friday. I feel like playing some pertinent, timely music. When words fail me, music, or quotes tend to do the trick. Besides, some people just aren’t worth wasting many words on – especially when they’re incapable of understanding and comprehending those words.

👿

The similarities are striking – the Drumpf also says that Black people and Muslims are “the scourge of the country.” And we’re supposed to be all right with that?!?

US Electoral College Meetings 2016

This is our final hope. I contacted my local electorate(s) – did you?

Post-Debate Midweek Music!!!

This can now be called “Post-Election Mood Music” – I think that it’s fitting!
I also included the most recent episode of “Last Week Tonight” with John Oliver…enjoy.

WTF Friday…

I’ve been trying to think of something good for the past few days. Something fun, funny, and light-hearted. Something to shed a tiny, positive light on the travesty that occurred earlier this week…but it’s damned difficult! My thoughts have been in a whirl. I’m a realist and a cynic – I have been since junior high school. Words are failing me, because there just aren’t enough to describe the depths of my anger. There aren’t enough words to describe how loathsome, foul, disgusting and sick the supporters of the Drumpf are. On that note, I can say this with complete honesty:

Hate won. There’s no way around it. Hate won. The things that are happening to kids in school, and people at workplaces, tell the tale. Fucking racist bullies are saying and doing unspeakable things to their fellow classmates. Racist sacks of shit are going out of their way to harass, harangue, and harry their coworkers. We get it. Hate won, and you racist, fucked-in-the-head freaks are happy. Oh, and quit being all butt-hurt over being called what you are, you inbred, white-trash, cross-burning, murdering sacks of shit. I find it hilarious that there are some people out there who get all upset over being called, or thought of as being racist – but they are unconcerned about the existence of racism itself. Being called a racist makes them madder than the existence of racism itself. Go figure that one out.

Yes, hate won the day. This country can go back to the “glory days” of the 1940s and 1950s…what a grand notion, eh? People with some twisted sense of nostalgia are delighted. The bust of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will be removed by the Drumpf – I’m betting that a bust of Stalin, Lenin, or Hitler will soon grace the Oval Office; perhaps all three will be present, with the confederate flag as a backdrop. The White House might even get the ‘gold finish’ treatment that the soon-to-be narcissist-in-chief will be demanding.

In the midst of this, though, there are still a few things that I can be glad for:

1. I didn’t vote for the Drumpf, so I’m not part of the problem. Blame the RethugliKKKans and the Tea-Baggers, the party who welcomed him and his sick, hate-filled ideologies with open arms. Put the blame where it belongs: on the psychotic whites who couldn’t stand the fact that a Black man is in the White House. Hell, they can’t stand the fact that Black people walk around free – but that will change. Get ready for nationwide “Stop & Frisk” laws…

2. I don’t work in an office – I work from home. I’m glad that I didn’t have to look with shock and disgust at my fellow co-workers, as many of you did on Wednesday morning. I’m glad that I don’t have to listen to political bullshit being spewed at the water-cooler or the break-room. Thank the gods and goddesses for small favours.

3. My son’s place of employment is more relaxed and casual than most, so he is safer than most other people are. My niece and nephews, though, are still in school. Since ice-skating is now possible in hell, I believe that I’m going to open a Facebook account, for the sole purpose of family support. I’ll be able to help them with bullies if I know exactly what happens at their school.

4. I live in one of the saner states in the union; the beautiful state of Washington – the Evergreen State. “West Coast = Best Coast.” I’ve been proud to see people demonstrating in Seattle, Portland, OR; Tempe, and Oakland. If I still lived in Vancouver or Seattle, you can bet that I’d be out with the others waving a sign and wielding a bullhorn. I haven’t been at a demonstration since WTO. Who knows? I just might attend a few more during the next four years.

5. It’s Friday. Happy Friday to my friends and acquaintances in the blog-o-sphere. We’ll get through this shit-storm together, I hope. It’s also Veterans Day, so I honour those who served – especially my father, my deceased uncle, my brother, my brother-in-law, and every member of my family that I don’t even know about yet. I come from a line of warriors and fighters who have bled and died for this country. What happened this week is an insult to them, their service, and their memory. I honour them more than ever, today.

Enjoy these three songs. I’m going to do some gaming for a bit – time to take out some aggression in a harmless way in my virtual world. No matter what, I’m always going to “Keep it 100%” – take that any way you wish.

All people who voted for the Drumpf, regardless of religion, need to own up to their part in the madness.

GOOD BLACK NEWS

(photo via johnpavlovitz.com)

We Christians like to talk about Hell a lot, so let’s talk about Hell a little. Yesterday, in the very first few daylight hours after Donald Trump’s election victory it began:

Near San Francisco, a home in Noe Valley flew a nazi flag where kids walk by to get to school.

A white middle school student brought a Trump sign to school and told a black classmate it was time for him to get “back in place”.

A gay New York City man getting on a bus was told that he should “Enjoy the concentration camps, faggot!”

The NYU Muslim Students Association found the word “Trump!”scrawled on the door of their prayer room.

A female seminary student was stopped at a coffee shop with the words, “Smile sweetheart, we beat the cunt.”

Parents of children of color spent the day picking up their children early from elementary…

Well…Fascinating.

So – that just happened. That really, really happened, didn’t it? Go figure. Amazing. Part of me says, “I don’t believe it…I can’t believe it…” But, you know what? The deeper, darker, cynical, and completely honest part of myself says, “Of course this happened. It was practically foretold…you could have bet money on this and won a fucking mint.”

This is why I have little respect for, or trust in, most people. This is why I have few acquaintances and even fewer friends. I read people like books – I meet people, size them up, pull them apart and pick through their guts. I listen to what people say, but not necessarily with my ears…I’m more inclined to use my eyes. I read between lines and observe body language. I follow patterns. I can read a room the moment I set foot in it – and that’s why I prefer being outdoors more often than not. The negativity of others is palpable and stifling. Phony smiles are all to obvious. Fake people with dead, botoxed, plastic faces nauseate me – but me being honest and saying that is considered “judgemental.”

The result of this presidential election is just another example of how hate-filled, ignorant, irrational, and psychotic people really are. This is the result of people being insanely fucked in the head simply because a Black man was in the White House for eight years. I’ve seen, first-hand and up-close, the sheer evil people are capable of doing to others. I’ve seen people’s lives destroyed from the spiteful actions of selfish, self-absorbed people who couldn’t put honesty and honor before the false front of a family name or legacy.

I can safely say that my conscience is clear…I cast my vote, even though it didn’t go the way I’d hoped. I have always done my best to be part of the solution, not part of the problem – and that will never cease. I never made plans to move to Canada, because there’s no need. I was born in this fucking country – that makes it mine. I’ll fight like hell for my little piece of quiet. Don’t bother me, and I won’t bother you. Come at me with your ignorant shit, and I’ll rip your fucking face off. It’s that gawddamned simple, for me.

Like me? Great. Hate my guts? I don’t give a shit. Assume what you wish – you will always be wrong. If you want to know me, ask me something real. If you want to be ignorant or rhetorical, then don’t waste my time. I’m going to be busy…it’s going to be a long four years, and I have much to get done. Time to get that armour on and wade back into the fray.
