Sepultura’s Saturday Screen-Shots: Steampunk City!

Here’s a small selection of some of my most recent in-game screen-shots, as promised! In these images I’m exploring the new, steampunk-styled land of The Elder Scrolls Online, the awesome game that I enjoy playing. I’ll be live-streaming some gameplay later on this evening, so tune in to my Twitch channel if you’re awake, grab a drink and a snack, and watch the fun!

Sampling a freshly-made batch of the old crone’s brew.

Flame-inspired meditation in the forest…very relaxing.

A new tree has sprung up in the garden of the grand manor…

It is certainly an interesting addition!

The entrance to the city of cogs and gears.

What the…? I’m shrinking!

Facing off against an army of automatons…

There – that should take care of them!

The new scenery is fascinating, and quite pleasing to the eye.

New quests and adventures await the intrepid explorer!

Paying due homage to the Mad God, with offerings of meat pies and cheese. Will he heed my humble request?

A friendly crow delivers a personal, welcome message…

Yes – success! Sheer perfection.

Shameless Gaming Promo: Mid-Year Mayhem! (Re-blogged)

Since the Mid-Year Mayhem in-game event is still in full swing, I figured it was the perfect time to re-blog this shameless gaming promotion! Many screen-shots are being taken, and more live-streaming of the slaughter is scheduled for Friday and through the weekend. Tune in for the fun!

I’m happy to announce the fourth installment of an in-game, seasonal event: Mid-Year Mayhem will be celebrated in the battlefields and war-zone of The Elder Scrolls Online! As you might recall, the first event was the Witches’ Festival in October of last year. That was followed by the New Life Festival in December, which began on the Solstice and ended around the New Year.

The Vernal Equinox was celebrated with the Jester’s Festival, where one of the mementoes that could be earned was a branch of Sakura (桜 or 櫻): you can festoon fellow gamers and guild-mates with a shower of fragrant flower-petals whenever…

The Vernal Equinox was celebrated with the Jester’s Festival, where one of the mementoes that could be earned was a branch of Sakura (桜 or 櫻): you can festoon fellow gamers and guild-mates with a shower of fragrant flower-petals whenever you wish. If you’re feeling particularly salty, you can spatter others with a nice, wet, gooey ball of mud – watch their avatars grunt in disgust as they try to shake and scrape off the filth!

Anyway, the mayhem begins at 0700 PDT, and I will be streaming some of the gaming madness live throughout the weekend. Click the link here to bookmark my Twitch channel, then tune in to watch the insanity. I will also be testing out some recording in another attempt to get some new footage posted on my YouTube channel, in order to utilize that medium much more than I have been…so keep your eyeballs peeled!

Excerpt: The Wild Hunt (Re-blogged)

Editing my next excerpt took longer than anticipated, so I’m re-blogging this one from a few months ago. My gaming session begins at 2100 PDT in case you’re interested; tonight’s adventures will involve much dungeon-crawling and dolmen-bashing!

They walk in silence to the secluded grove. He has been here many times; for her, it will be her first visit…but not her last. Her thoughts drift back as she follows him through the dense forest, recalling the events that led her here…

She is brought quickly back to the present as they emerge in the small clearing. The statue of the Forest Lord stands tall before them, brandishing a spear. His antlered aspect is fierce; his human torso well-formed and muscular. His two wolf companions snarl in stone effigy at his feet, worrying a boar.

The tall, broad-shouldered, wild-haired man turns to face her, his ice-blue eyes blazing in the moonlight that filters through…

Sepultura’s Screen-Shots: Morrowind!

This week is one of the few dedicated to gaming and live-streaming the action on my Twitch channel. Why, you might be asking yourselves? Well, the online game which I play is launching the newest chapter on 6 June, but those of us who pre-ordered the expansion were allowed early access on Monday of this week – so, I’ve been shamelessly gaming in between eating, working out, and sleeping. I know, I know; sleep is for the weak according to the hardcore die-hards out there, but I believe in taking care of myself even when indulging in my guilty pleasures!

Anyway, the newest chapter is actually a return to an ancient land which was introduced to fans of the Elder Scrolls multiverse in the Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. TESO did a fantastic job in rendering the ancestral island of the Dark Elves and breathing new life into a classic, well-loved game. I selected a few of the screen-shots that I’ve taken so far this week; more will be published later on. As always, feel free to bookmark my Twitch channel and check out the show! Broadcasting is most likely to occur between 1300 – 1900 PDT on weekdays and pretty much anytime on weekends, LOL

A mysterious stranger hands you a note…

…leading you on a journey to a distant land.

You meet, and help, fellow travelers…

…and come face-to-face with a god.

Many queue up to request blessings from the “Warrior-Poet.”

There is even a house of ill-repute, for those who like the seedy side!

Fungi of all sizes grow everywhere…

…including the backs of local fauna.

Here’s another cute critter, native and unique to this island.

There are many new, and beautiful, sights to see…

…there is even construction of a new city in progress!

Sunday Scenery…And a Bit o’ Silliness!

This was worth a re-post, with a bit of edu-ma-cation tossed into the mix. Also, be sure to check out my Twitch channel for live-streamed broadcasts of my gaming sessions…enjoy!

I was doing some tests with my new computer, seeing how well it handles my hard-core gaming needs, and I finally got it to crash! No, I didn’t kill it, but I have gotten it to completely freeze up where it required a “forced hard reboot,” which sounds worse than it actually is. I’m so hard on equipment…I demand far more of things that I own than people – but, I also have high expectations of myself, and expect things that I purchase to function to their maximum capability…and beyond!

I was successful with recording a gaming session, but only once – I didn’t download the clip because there wasn’t anything worth saving in it, LOL – but broadcasting a live gaming session caused a “freezing-crash,” multiple times, after about one minute. Either my video settings are too high, or I haven’t located where to adjust them – or, its…

Saturday Screen-Shots; Streaming Schedule!

My performance tests are complete – all systems are go! There are some minor glitches still holding up YouTube uploads, but everything else is running like clockwork and functioning as it should. I can now post a schedule for my gaming broadcasts, if any of you are interested in watching some real-time, live gameplay! I’ve even provided a survey if anyone has any suggestions or comments. The survey will be up for a week; the comments for this post will automatically close after two weeks.

For now, here are a few of my favourite past screen-shots from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and The Elder Scrolls Online. More gaming action will be streamed within an hour of this post’s publishing…please tune in and check it out!

New Life Festival Screen-Shots: 1st Post 2017!

Well, here we are…1 January of 2017! I say “1st Post 2017,” because it is my first original post typed with my own fingers, not a re-blog of someone else’s post. I’m going to be doing some gaming and live-streaming the footage if the program decides to cooperate. In the meantime, please enjoy these in-game screen-shots that I took while taking part in the New Life Festival. I’m enjoying the fun, seasonal things that are being added to the game – they’re very entertaining. I’m also looking forward to checking out the player housing on the Public Test Server in a week or so! I usually don’t do ‘spoilers,’ but I really want to see what’s in store.

Talk at you all later!

Random Friday Ramblings…23 December 2016!

It’s Friday…whoo-hoo!!! I always love Fridays, whether I’m working or not – go figure, eh? Anyway, I just put in my annual calendar order today, along with some necessary, much-needed workout gear. It’s been a while since I bought workout clothes, and what’s really funny is that my workout gear doubles as ideal gaming gear! So, to bore you all to tears, here is what I wear whilst working out or gaming…and hard-core gamers know that an intense PvP gaming session, or a mindless XP grind, is a workout in and of itself, LOL!

DISCLAIMER: I receive no compensation for the products that I use, so this is strictly my opinion only! Would I love to get some free gear and do a review? Sure! But, I’m not on Facebook – that’s why I don’t get free products. I pay real money for what I use, LOL

😎

First off, I prefer Tommie Copper clothing. Comfort, durability, fit, and it looks good on me – those are the reasons I like it. Other fitness brands just look ugly to me, and seem to be made for anorexics who do nothing but spinning classes. I do circuit training and yoga, mainly. My elliptical machine is for fall and winter, or rainy days in the spring and summer, but I enjoy getting out on my bicycle and riding on the beach. I’m still on the lookout for a decent rowing machine, too – almost got one at the same time I bought my weight machine, but it was already sold out…so, I’ll keep looking!

Anyway, the workout gear is this:
-Gloves
-Compression wrist supports
-Comfort / support top
-Back brace (upper-body workout days)
-Compression shorts
-Knee supports (or full-leg compression for lower-body / leg exercises)
-Compression ankle supports
-Vibram(R) Five-fingers(T) shoes

For gaming, I wear the gloves and the wrist supports, a t-shirt with a smart-ass saying on it (for proper gaming saltiness), and jeans or yoga pants. Others can schlub about in house-coats or sweats…not me! Comfortable doesn’t need to be slovenly, ROFL

XD

I planned on writing up a schedule for my live gaming broadcasts, but it’s impossible to do with such a temperamental computer. Actually, the computer isn’t temperamental – either the Twitch program decides that it doesn’t want to work some days, or the ESO game itself is! There are always random crashes that happen whilst gaming, especially during ‘special events’ such as the ongoing ‘New Life Festival,’ but they’re expected. When one has been gaming for as long as I have, bugs and crashes are a given – so, we just roll with it and wait out the inevitable patches! Speaking of special stuff…player housing is FINALLY coming to ESO, and I can’t wait – I’m ready to check it out on the Public Test Server (PTS) when it gets loaded there in January! It should be interesting, to say the least. Below is a short video showing some of the houses that will be available.

Well, that’s it from me for now – time for some gaming! If you want to watch, click on the ‘Multimedia Links’ at the top of my blog and find the Twitch channel…if it says ‘LIVE,’ that means I’m online and the programs are cooperating with me, LOL

Otherwise, enjoy these three selected songs…happy Friday, all! Oh, while I’m on the subject of music – please don’t go reading something into the songs that I play. People get all bent out of shape or butthurt over my music, when I’m simply playing what I want to hear, when I want to hear it, if I’ve been inspired by reading or writing! I don’t do hidden meanings – now, if I do a theme-related post, that’s another thing entirely! Talk at you all later…
