It Arrived!

The “Brack Flyday Bunduru” of stuff that I ordered was delivered today! Here is what arrived:

– Two Sabrent (TM) USB 3D stereo headset adaptors.

– One Logitech (R) G13 Advanced Gameboard.

– Three 2018 calendars; one for my home office, one in the main hallway, and one in the bedroom. They are always of a picturesque nature and vary from year to year.

– Assorted beauty products for my winter skin-care regimen.

The last thing that I’m waiting for is an order from Tommie Copper, as more exercise / gaming gear is needed! Should be here no later than Friday, 15 December.

The only thing I have on my “wish list” is a NordicTrack Freestride trainer. I need to get rid of my outdated elliptical, which was used when I bought it eight years ago. Time to upgrade!

1 December Shopping List

I need to order calendars now that December has arrived. The ones that I like seem to get sold faster than most! It is also time to replenish stocks of the bath soaps and other beauty products that I use.

Can’t forget the USB adaptor for my new headset, either! I already have one, but it is usually used as a backup. The newer ones should be more compatible with the latest technology, I think.

Thursday Thoughts: Things That Make Me Go “Hmmmmm…”

Ah, but it’s great to have a functioning computer again! It works so well now – yes, I know a thing or two about computers and how they should run, so if something is malfunctioning oddly, and for no apparent reason, then it needs to be looked at by the responsible and / or appropriate party. Sometimes, a customer DOES know what she or he is talking about!

Anyway, I’ve had an enjoyable time over the past two days, grinding in the battlefields, running around collecting bounties until the various campaigns that I was in rolled over for the expected restart, and socked away my hard-earned gold. Even broadcast some of the action, here and there; I hope that you were able to watch a bit of it! Guild-store sales have been good this week, as well. Having a trader helps with that, and selling high-ticket, rare items makes for a nice influx of income on the side!

While I was sorting, selling, questing, and killing, I had a few thoughts crop up in the back of my brain. They amused me, so I figured that I’d share them! Here we go:

• What is the deal with the “Kar-Trash-ian Syndrome,” and why won’t it go away? Why won’t people let it die the quick death that it so richly deserves?

• Who the hell is Chrisley, and why does he know best? What makes him an authority?

• Why do people create fake blogs and / or social media profiles? Do they feel that trolling, catfishing, or harassing others is clever? Is being an unhinged cretin some massive feat of heroism?

• Why is pointing out obvious things such as these considered “whinging” or “griping?” What is so offensive about pointing out absurdities?

• Last, but not least: Why do excellent beauty products get discontinued? I’m speaking specifically about the phenomenal eye moisturizer that used to be made by Bare Escentuals, called “Eye Rev-er Upper.” I was waiting for my quarterly supply to be delivered and was notified that the product was no longer available. They didn’t even offer up a similar product! I’ve been using that stuff since I found out about it 10 years ago, and now it’s gone…it is so hard for me to find decent beauty products, and now I have to hunt for a nice, water-based, gel-type eye moisturizer again. Aaaarrrggghhh! Such a pain.

With that, I’ll leave you with a song that should give you some proper insight into the tone of this post…anyone who thinks that my complaints are serious, really doesn’t know me that well and is simply making unfair assumptions and biased judgements. Thank goodness that it’s their problem, not mine! Talk with you all later…
