About sepultura13

So…what to say about myself?  I’ll keep it short and sweet for those of you with short attention spans, which seems to be nearly every modern humanoid born after 1981!  Those of us who consider ourselves ‘old school’, or those of us who limit our televsion/radio/internet exposure, seem to be less impatient than those who are uber-reliant on all things technological (Sorry for the omission of the umlauts, LOL).

Anyway, I digress: I’m a proud “blerd” who enjoys music and loves to read. I enjoy anime and manga, writing and blogging, fashion and technology, and gaming of all kinds. I firmly believe that outdoor sports and activities are preferable to being indoors; hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking are regular activities of mine.  Two wheels are better than four in my opinion, so I’m more likely to be on my bicycle or motorcycle than in my car – but, I love classic cars so if there’s a cruise-in going on nearby, I’m there!  My dream car is the 1958 Pontiac Bonneville…a big, beautiful, Detroit-made gas-guzzler!

I live in the Pacific Northwestern area of the United States; Washington State, specifically. I used to be employed full-time, but now I’m perfectly happy to work for temp agencies while I finish my autobiography and move towards self-employment, financial independence and security.  The older I get, the more I realize that I can’t stand working for other people.  I’d prefer to be my own boss, set my own schedule, and be beholden to none but myself.  From what I’ve seen, office politics tend to be a heaping, steaming pile of fecal matter dropped by male bovines, and when you work at a place that makes selective use of the employee manual, it becomes rapidly apparent that they ‘talk the talk’ but don’t ‘walk the walk’.  The company I used to work for (and many others) don’t seem to do much to retain the superior employees; the managing principals, for some reason, are far too invested in protecting people who are otherwise unemployable elsewhere.

As far as rules for my blog go, there aren’t any rules.  This is ‘my house’, as it were, and you are merely a guest.  If you misbehave, then you won’t be welcome – it’s that simple.  All comments are strictly moderated, so don’t bother trolling or trying to advertise bullshit spam.  I think a policy like this is much more honest than setting up a long list of rules, and then chiding people even if they follow said rules, while giving a pass to others who go out of their way to break them.  I guess one has to be a special type of control freak to do that sort of childish thing, LMAO
Basically, this is a “troll-free” zone – no trolls allowed!  I keep them away with the following video clip, because everyone knows that trolls are no match for a mighty goat!  Ever read The 3 Billy Goats Gruff?  I suggest that you do, ROFL

Hello, and thank you for visiting and commenting!
I get my anime from Amazon.com, mainly – but some of the more popular ones have their own websites and sell clothing, posters, and items for cosplay – I am planning on attending Sakura-Con in Seattle in the next year or so. 🙂

Thanks for following me and introducing me to your world. I have your same taste in cars, would be nice if they could find a way to make them electric or powered by the sun! Sounds like we’re near the same age and feel the same about work. I did temp work for years in my performing days. But now I’m working full time and writing my second e-book. I plan to complete three before this year is out. I look forward to reading your work and sharing in your adventures.

You sound like a super active outdoorsy kind of lady (and also pretty handy to have around after the apocalypse – camping, fishing, hunting). I do enjoy a good camping or hiking trip myself. Also like you, I’m a two-wheel rider – just a bicycle; I haven’t graduated up to a motorcycle, although it is on my bucket list. Something else on that list is to take a muscle car like a Mustang or a Camaro on a really long (really fast!) road trip. Thanks for visiting and following my blog, and happy writing with your autobiography.
