Re-blogging one of my own posts, since it is just as deserving of more views as the posts of others that I re-blog! Also, I included a link that is worthy of reading…no re-blog option, so this is the next best thing.

Random Ramblings; Myriad Musings

Well, the day has arrived. Here in the states, some groups of people are elated. They give their ‘white-power’ salutes as they goose-step along, waving their confederate flags and nazi banners, screaming “Sieg Heil!” and “Heil Drumpf!” They are tickled pinker than they already are, now that their “chosen one” has been sworn in. I’m surprised that the bible didn’t burst into flames and turn into a heap of ashes when the tiny, baby-like hand of the illegitimate one was placed on it.

My thoughts on this matter haven’t changed one iota. I will give that thing the same respect and honour that he and the Rethuglikkkans gave President Obama. I will treat him the same way that his supporters treated Hillary and the entire Obama family. He will get all of the support from me that he’s earned: ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NONE. It’s going to be a very long four…

Seriously, you have my condolences. What makes this even more tragic is that the majority of Americans didn’t even vote for him. Yeah, that’s ‘democracy’ at work. You’re so right that this is going to be a LONG four years… 😦

Those of us who didn’t vote for him have to listen to the whining of the “misunderstood” people who did – they maintain ignorance in the face of his blatant, egregious actions, and still bleat that “Hillary would have been worse!”

I love that people in the U.K. have signed an online petition to keep his orange arse from visiting, LOL! I think that Putin and a select few other world leaders are the only ones who would welcome old Baby-hands with open arms…

It really is a screwed up situation, isn’t it? I honestly think Hillary was the superior choice, but clearly there were those out there that weren’t willing to put their egos aside and give her a chance. In the words of Professor Farnsworth…

ROFLMAO – well, the planet is still all right…so far…but, I can definitely agree with the sentiment! I’m definitely glad that I live in the state that I do, at the very least…there is still some sanity on the West Cost!

My question is, and has been, where the hell were all you people when Bush the second staged a coup? When he blew a budget surplus in a desert halfway around the world when the problem was right here? Where was all this righteous indignation when that regime censored a Dixie Chicks protest song and killed airplay of alternative opinions and put our country on this path to brain dead lockdown? Who thought Obama throwing feel good pep rallies was going to change anything in the face of a congressional stalemate and left his brick wall in office? Did you all miss that? Eight years is a long time to scratch our asses and wonder why the man couldn’t get anything done and vote to fix that. Who says Trump is all white power goose steppers and disaffected old white men? I am on old white guy and he has nothing to do with me, and the county isn’t made up of enough old white guys, even camo wearing gun rack rednecks, to elect him on their own. Even if all of us old white guys abandoned our beliefs and leftover hippie angst, there he is. And here we are again, fifty years later drawing imaginary lines of exclusion based on what? That I can’t hold the door for a black woman if I want to? Can’t drink a beer with the roofing guys who may or may not be legal? I should be an uncooperative exclusionary part of the gridlock problem asshole? Okay, fuck Trump. But don’t quit on the rest of us over some stupid political farce. The same one that’s been being enacted over and over and over for centuries. The race and gender pigeonhole bashing has to stop somewhere, and it stops with us, as individuals. Or it will never stop at all.

Who the fuck is “you people?” I was just shy of being able to vote when Bush II staged a coup, so what the fuck do / did you expect me to do about it?!? Where the fuck were YOU? What were YOU doing when Dubya staged his coup?

Your train of thought is all over the place, here. If you made sense, I’d probably discuss this topic with you – but you just come off as massively unhinged.

No. Fed up. With whining and soft focus reality. Bush stole an election over sixteen years ago. Anyone who didn’t see Trump coming has been blind, asleep or in that gauzy cocoon of complacency that doesn’t see the elephant in the room. My point, I’ll make it again, don’t miss it this time. All the exclusionary, refusal to participate, angry, reactionary, Aristotelian stereotyping bigotry ridden bitchfests of blame are counterproductive. Tell me you misunderstood that.

If you wish to make a point, this might be of help:

        1. Untwist your knickers.

        2. Take a chill-pill.

        3. Cogitate in depth, then abbreviate and articulate your statement with facts – not personal attacks.

You might make some sense and get your point across if you do so. Attacking me for having an opinion that you don’t like is beyond pathetic, and what you call a “bitch-fest” is me expressing my frustration. You never answered my question, just continued with your mindless, knee-jerk reaction. So whatever point you were making was lost in your hate-filled judgement of my statements.

You just come off as another troll, but that seems to be your intent. Hopefully you have a very nice weekend – you seem to be in need of one.
