Disturbed is a band that I’ve enjoyed immensely over the years, and Shout 2000 is one of their best remakes. They also did a version of “The Sound of Silence,” which is awesome…here it is, for your listening enjoyment:

Okay, the Disturbed live version of “The Sound of Silence” is amazing and actually gave me chills. (Side note: I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it before, but I’m not able to click “Like” on any of the comments. There’s just not an option. Are you able to see Likes from other people?)

I didn’t know that you couldn’t click ‘Like’ on the comments – I’ll have to see if I have that setting enabled! I know that people can ‘like’ my posts, as well as comments that I make to them on their blogs, so…I’ll give the settings a look-over ASAP.

I can see the Like option now! Hurray! This thrills me, because for the longest time I would see comments that you (and others) were making and I wanted to do a digital high-five but I couldn’t. I am very content with life right now. At least for the next 30 minutes… 😉

ROFL – ah, those dreaded mood swings! I know the feeling…I can go from “civilized Creole” to “ragin’ Cajun” in 2.5 seconds, sometimes! Contentment is fleeting, at times…

If you can stand one more remake, here’s an excellent version of “Cinnamon Girl,” done by Type O Negative:

It’s one of those bands that I heard at some club, when I still went out clubbing – and when I found out the name of the band I started laughing…because that is my blood-type!
