Agreed…I look for some small good in the world on a daily basis – it seems to be needed a whole lot, lately! I’m still wrapping my brains around the events, both here and worldwide, over the past month…and the political conventions (DNC and RNC) here haven’t happened yet, so there’s still room for more mind-blowing events.

Well said. I’m not ready for a new president yet. I have enjoyed President Obama, not just because he saved us from a worldwide economic collapse brought on by George W Bush & Administration but because he was able to accomplished so much in the face of disrespect and obstruction in Congress. Through all of that he kept his mind on the people’s work and was always a gentleman. Republicans, with their literally backward Notions, have worn me out.

Agreed 100%. When I think of what people really mean when they say “Take our country back” or “Make America great again,” I shudder in revulsion. We are living in interesting times…I just look at what’s happened in the past and see some unpleasant similarities to things occurring today.
